Paul Zacher, Founder & President
After earning a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Cal State University in Sacramento in 1983, Paul began his professional career with the Cal-Trans Bridge. He became the Senior Bridge Engineer for the Architectural Branch and worked on such high-profile projects as the San Francisco Bay Bridge retrofit, the Benecia-Martinez toll plaza and the U.S. Border Inspection Stations at Calexico and Otay Mesa during his tenure with the company. Four years after completing his degree, Paul founded PZSE, Inc. – Structural Engineers in July of 1987.
As president of PZSE, Inc., Paul leads project development and contributes the highest level of technical knowledge and technical and project management support to his staff. He also ensures value engineering from initial planning through the design stage to guarantee maximum value for each project PZSE, Inc. completes. His philosophy is to “always deliver more than what we promise.”

Joseph Camilleri, Project Manager/ Project Engineer
Prior to joining PZSE, Inc. – Structural Engineers in February of 2005, Joseph was a lead project manager for Cal Trans Architectural Branch for 18 years. He earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Berkeley, in Civil Engineering in 1978, and completed his M.S. in Structural Engineering at San Jose University in 1987.
As a complement to his role as project manager, Joseph is an expert in structural engineering for various residential, commercial and transportation-related building projects including steel, concrete, masonry and wood design.

Mark L. Boatwright, Senior Drafter
Mark joined the PZSE, Inc. – Structural Engineers team in 2009, and brought with him more than 12 years of drafting experience with various engineering and architectural firms. Mark attended the College of the Redwoods and ITT Technical and holds an Associate of Arts in both Drafting for Construction and CADD Drafting.
As senior drafter for PZSE, Inc., Mark conducts on-site field investigations, performs project CADD drafting and is responsible for the development of office CADD standards and details. Mark’s exceptional attention to detail and depth of experience makes him a distinct asset to the PZSE team.
